SALA 2012 – A Stitch in Time in Colour, Line & Form

Burra Regional Art Gallery’s contribution to SALA this year will be worth travelling to experience. The theme –“A Stitch in Time in Colour, Line and Form” has been explored by our talented regional artists through many different mediums. The exhibition focuses on the threads that are woven through our rural communities and the connections that link the past to our present experiences of country life.  It will be great to see the exhibition come together as an innovative expression of life ”to gladden the spirit and bring joy to the heart.”

Our celebratory launch will be 5pm Saturday August 4th. Dan van Holst Pellekaan, State Member for Stuart, has kindly agreed to say a few words, and being a great supporter of the arts no doubt will make those words count. The exhibition will run to August 29.
